Welcome to Travel Media Showcase 2015
We hope that you will join us in Bloomington, Indiana for the 16th Annual Travel Media Showcase. Once again we'll be bringing together leading print and broadcast travel media to meet with representatives from the United States, Canada, and international destinations in a highly organized and business-like format involving pre-scheduled one-on-one appointments and fam tours.
Travel Media Showcase 2015 will be held August 11-14, 2015 at the Bloomington/Monroe County Convention Center.
Our unique three-day program will include 2 days of pre-scheduled journalist/exhibitor appointment sessions, local fam tours, pre tour, post tours plus numerous networking opportunities. Local Media or Editors may opt for a one-day registration option. Click here to view the Schedule of Events.
Travel Media Showcase is a one-stop, opportunity for travel journalists to:
- Meet one-on-one with public relations and communications practitioners from convention and visitors bureaus, state, regional, and international tourism offices, attractions and theme parks, major hotel chains and destination resort properties, airlines, cruise lines and gaming venues.
- Gather new story ideas and background material on a broad range of tourism products.
- Develop personal relationships with key travel information sources.
- Network with other travel journalists and editors.
- Schedule follow-up media visits to destinations of interest.
- Sign up for participation in upcoming destination-sponsored familiarization trips.
Registration is free and open to pre-qualified travel media such as: Editors, Staff Writers, Assignment Writers, Freelance Writers, Photographers, Bloggers, Video and Film producers for newspapers, magazines, television, broadcast/video/film, internet, travel guides, books.
All Journalists will be required to pre-qualify in order to receive a member id and password to register for Travel Media Showcase. The pre-qualification questionnaire will be available on our website on November 17, 2014 and will take just minutes to complete. Qualified applicants will receive a member id and password which will allow you access to online registration which begins January 12, 2015.
Attendance status notifications will start via email in February and on a rolling basis thereafter.
