Elaine Warner is a travel journalist from Edmond, Ok.
If you were required to change your name today, what would you change it to?
Lady Elaine Worthington
Where did you go and what did you do the first time you skipped school?
Oh, please, I’m a first-born. First-borns NEVER skip school. I did cut a few classes in college, though. Winter mornings, I just couldn’t make it to my 8 a.m. folk dance class clear across campus. I was told if I missed another class, I’d flunk. First-borns NEVER flunk!
Imagine someone is annoying you on the phone. What do you say to get them off the line?
Oops, I just looked at my watch — I’m so sorry, I’ve got to go!
What type of filter did you apply to your social media profile photo?
Describe your most unusual phobia?
What’s the most unique rumor that you’ve heard about yourself?
That I’m intimidating.
If your friends had to compare you to a character from Golden Girls or Steel Magnolias, or a personality from RuPaul’s Drag Race, who would you be and why?
Ouiser Boudreaux from Steel Magnolias — “of a certain age” and unfiltered.
If a used car salesman were to describe to you what would they say? Sell us yourself in auto terminology.
She’s got a few dings, but she’s dependable.
What’s your fondest TMS memory?
It started in 2011 at TMS OKC. Last day — whoever’s available — we hit a cupcake place! I’ve made three of them — OKC, Grapevine and Niagara Falls.
